The Thumbsaver TS001 Magnetic Nail Setter is one of those inventions that make you wonder why you didn't think of it. It's one of those tools that you don't need it until you NEED it - and then, nothing else will do. It's surprising how many little tasks are made simple by the Thumbsaver. Yes, it saves thumbs, but it also saves time and effort.
The tool works as advertised and the DIY network did a great job making me aware of the tool. I purchased 4 of the thumb saver tool sets as Christmas presents. I have used the tool to hold a nail in place in out of the way places where it would be awkward to hold and then strike the nail. I will continue to use the tools and avoid those painful hits to the fingers and thumb. For a home do-it-yourselfer the tool is great.
Very cool, everyone should have these. This is the neatest nail holder I have ever used and I have a lot of them. It holds well while starting the nail and then releases easy. Darrell N. Dawson

Saves banging the thumb and not having to utter words that shock nearby sensitive ears. I have been needing something like this for years. Makes those small nails or screws very easy to manipulate. If you hang pictures or are generally using things around the house, a must have. I highly recommend this item.
